Trudy and I have been friends for years. We met while temping at the BBC Viewer Complaints office. Even though we only worked there for a few months we have remained friends ever since. (We bonded over rubbish boyfriends, crazy diets and bottles of wine)! Trudy and Jamie are emigrating to Australia later this year and decided to get married before they leave so they could spend a day with their nearest and dearest. When Trudy asked me to photograph her wedding, I was completely thrilled as it meant I also got to spend some time with her and her gorgeous family. Her top priority was to make sure the children who did attend were safe and that their parents could relax and enjoy the day. Trudy and Jamie chose boutique hotel Oundle Mill near Peterborough for the ceremony and then onto to
Pear Tree Farm in Aldwinkle for the reception. Even though I’m really sad that Trudy and Jamie are emigrating, I’m also really excited for them and their new life and have to keep telling myself “…there is always Skype, there is always Skype…”! Here are a few photos from the gorgeous day. The reception is in a few weeks and adults only – yah!
