Finding beauty and making art
As 2025 begins, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey this past year has been. From capturing meaningful moments for my couples to exploring new creative endeavours, 2024 has been nothing short of transformative.
This year, I had the privilege of working with so many wonderful couples, each with their own unique stories to tell. I’ve travelled down to Devon and up to Edinburgh and every single wedding, couple and each moment has been wonderful and fills me with so much joy. Every wedding has reminded me why I love what I do. Thank you for trusting me to preserve your memories—it’s a responsibility I treasure deeply.
One of the most exciting parts of this year has seen me starting an MA in Photography with Falmouth University. It’s really pushing me both creatively and intellectually. Currently, I’m working on projects relating to memory and dementia (my mum had Alzheimer’s) so it’s been quite an emotional and personal journey. I can’t wait to share more of this work with you in the coming months. (When I feeling a bit braver.)
This year wasn’t just about taking photos; it was about building connections. From our heartfelt conversations during sessions to the warm feedback I’ve received, I’m constantly reminded of the incredible community that surrounds me. Whether you’ve been ne of couples, a follower on social media, or a fellow creative, your support means the world.
Looking ahead
As I look to 2025, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. There are new projects on the horizon, more stories to tell, and countless opportunities to grow as a photographer and artist. I’ll also continue to focus on creating a warm and personalised experience for every couple, because I believe photography is about more than images—it’s about connection.
