My approach to weddings is simple – it’s honest and real

My approach is a bit different to other photographers – I really try to get to know you both from the moment you book. This really helps feed into you being super chilled and comfortable on the wedding day. I’m not a stranger – I’m your biggest cheerleader!

01 –I’m award-winning!
(…humble brag) but I have won a few awards over my time, including Top 50 in the UK, Storyteller of the Year, etc.
02 – 12 years+ as a wedding photographer
And 10 years before that as a journalist and photojournalist. I’ve photographed 300+ weddings, been in the press pack outside 10 Downing Street, and photographed The Brits. All this has taught be to be a relaxed and an “oasis of calm” on wedding days. It really helps having that around!
03 – No awkward posing!
Also, pinky promise not to make you do any weird or silly poses (unless you want to, of course!) We’ll keep it very natural and because we are now old friends it’s really easy and fun!

As well as being relaxed, I’m also really helpful (did I mention that I’m here for you you both)! I’m good at doing button holes, fit right in with your family and friends and help you have the best day ever.

Each moment captured has the power to become utterly priceless.
My approach is pretty much hands off, I don’t tell you what to do, rather let the day unfold naturally. There are a few times when a bit of organisation helps, like with confetti, and I do also take a few family portraits – BUT pretty much everything else is natural and “documentary” – so lots of candid photos of your wonderful guests having the best day. I also love getting a bit creative for your couple portraits, so we’ll go off and have 10 minutes of you guys alone and having a breather!
This organic approach allows me to capture the very essence of your wedding soul and bottle it up for you. I don’t have magic powers (yet!) but I believe that photography is the next best way of doing that!
