Kin House Wedding
rEAL Wedding
Rachael and James
Back in November, I had the pleasure of capturing a truly beautiful wedding at Kin House in Wiltshire. It was a very grey winter’s day – but it that didn’t stop the day being absolutely beautiful and romantic.
Kin House is a charming Georgian Manor House with picturesque grounds. It provided the perfect backdrop for this joyous occasion. As a photographer, I was excited to be a part of the celebration and document the love and happiness felt by everyone in attendance.

The Wedding Day at Kin House
Rachael and James wanted their day to be a little bit different. They didn’t want lots of posed pictures but rather more natural and candid photos (which are always my favourite). It was their second marriages and both had grown up children, so they wanted to create a grown up, elegant celebration. They asked their guests to wear their most sparkly and glamorous evening wear. And everyone really did look fabulous.
The couple also decided to do away with some of the more formal traditions at weddings. They decided to see each other before the wedding (a very unscripted and natural first look) and walk into the ceremony room and down the aisle together, which was super lovely. The ceremony was heartfelt and tender – and a joy to capture for them.
The reception that followed was filled with lots of laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches. The atmosphere was very romantic, with a genuine sense of celebration filling the room. As a photographer, it was a joy to capture the happiness among family and friends.
A Little Kin House Magic
Throughout the day, I made it my mission to capture not just the major moments, but also the little details that made this wedding unique. The beautiful table styling and floral bouquets by the wonderful Flowers By Passion, every element added to the overall charm of the occasion.
Being a wedding photographer, each wedding is a unique story, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of these special moments in people’s lives.
A relaxed and glamourous day
After the speeches and dinner, guests were invited into The beautifully art deco Fitz Bar where the band had set up. Music and much dancing filled the air at Kin House. It was a brilliant night!
I feel honoured to have been chosen to document this beautiful wedding at Kin House and to have played a small role in preserving the cherished memories of the couple and their families. It is moments like these that make me passionate about the art of photography and capturing the beauty of life’s most special moments.
