This wedding was everything. It had all the feels, hugs, all the emotions, a beautiful humanist ceremony, and then some epic dance floor moves. It was simply the best.
Seckford Hall near Woodbridge in Suffolk was the setting for Annemarie and Ped’s beautiful day. Seckford Hall was a stunning location – a red brick Tudor building in fabulous countryside. The lake made a beautiful setting for their group photos and portraits.
Annemarie looked utterly in her Watters lace wedding gown and her shoes were by Franco Sarto.
There were so many wonderful moments throughout the day – but one of my favourites was on the dance floor. Annemarie and Ped organised DANCE SOCKS for their guests. Brilliantly pattended explosions of socky colour on the dancefloor! Who doesn’t need dance floor socks!
Heartfelt Humanist ceremony
They also created one of the most beautiful and heartfelt Humanist ceremonies I’ve witnessed. They asked their good friend to officiant the proceedings and created a service which involved Ring Warming (where guests pass round the rings) and also mixed sands from LA (where Annemarie is from) with sands from the banks of the Thames (where Ped is from)! I loved that the had both sets of parents to witness this bit too.
Annemarie had asked her friend Joanna Imrie of Cut Flowers to produce some spectacular bouquets and floral scenery throughout the venue too. They are all really beautiful.
And I must just mention Ped’s Best Man speech. Truly epic and hilarious. It involved Ped’s face being plastered on a Bill Poster is South East London. The things you do for groom humiliation! 🙂
I’ve put together a selection of photos from the day for your viewing pleasure – and just to say a massive thank you to the very wonderful human being and awesome photographer Steph Kiely who was my wing gal on the day.
