Here’s my round up of best wedding photography images from 2023. My favourites: the light, the moments, the party! What a year!
I mean, where do I even start with 2023? What a joy to have witnessed 30 weddings across the country, meeting 60 loved up beauties and their family and friends. I know I say this every year, but god, I have the best job. Don’t get me wrong, it’s bloody stressful on occasions and I don’t get to have many weekends at home, but on the other hand, I get to hang out with super brilliant people having their best days! It is pure JOY!
At one of my weddings this year (Ciaran and Louise I’m looking at you), I had a weird moment when suddenly the strangeness of my job hit me. I realised I stalk people! (and light and moments) but basically I get to hang out and people watch for a living! For money! It’s very odd, but I bloody love each and every minute of it.

So, here is my collection of favourite moments from 2023. The silly, random things that happen, that oh so beautiful light, those meaningful glances, the tender touches, the secret smiles, the kids who want all the cake NOW, the mums and dads watery eyes, your bestie hugs. I see you. I really see you. And it fills my soul with all the good stuff that life has to offer. I hope you feel it too.
And to everyone of my couples, their friends and families who have welcomed me into their lives as one of their own. THANK YOU for allowing me into your days. You are truly the beautiful people.
And to all my fellow suppliers; the florists, the musicians, dress makers & cake bakers, and all the venue staff – you’ve been epic, truly. You are all true heroes of the day. I’m very proud to be apart of such a creative, hardworking, talented industry.
Have a WONDERFUL, relaxing, fun, silly festive season. I am sending you HUGS.
Love Sharron x

**Disclaimer: So, the first image is not from a wedding but a styled shoot at The Mount Without in Bristol, but I love it so much I wanted to include it. You can see more of that on my film photography blog post. **
