ARTISTIC & EMOTIVE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR MODERN & CREATIVE COUPLES.

London Film Photographer – shooting across London & the UK

Welcome to your Time Machine

Time slips by fast on a wedding day. One minute you’re pinning buttonholes, the next it’s midnight and you’re on the dance floor. That’s why I shoot weddings on film alongside digital, because film slows everything down and holds moments with a softness and honesty that feels like real memory.
I’m a London film wedding photographer specialising in documentary, emotive film photography. I’m not there to manufacture perfection or march you through poses. I’m there for the people and the in-between moments, the nervous laugh before you walk in, the hand squeeze under the table, the breath before a speech, the tear that gets wiped away.
Film is perfect for this kind of storytelling. The grain, colour, and tones feel timeless, romantic, and beautifully lived-in, never over-produced. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, but mostly I’m watching, listening, and letting your day unfold.
Years from now, these photos won’t just show you how it looked. They’ll bring you back to how it felt. Not a time machine, exactly. But close.

Your

story

Every single wedding I’ve ever photographed has been completely different, because every couple brings their own story, their own rhythm, their own wonderfully unpredictable mix of people. That’s exactly why film matters so much to me.
Film makes you pay attention. It slows everything down in the best way, and it honours what’s in front of the lens instead of forcing it into something it isn’t. There’s no endless clicking and correcting, just a deliberate way of seeing, waiting, and capturing the moment when it’s real. That’s how the laughter lands, how the quiet glances feel bigger than they look, how the chaos and tears and tenderness get held with care.
And then there’s the look of it. Film has a depth and softness that feels like memory, not a filter. The tones are natural, the grain is alive, and the imperfections are part of the truth. It turns a split second into something you can almost step back into, years later, and still feel it in your chest.

Why me?

Your film wedding photographer should be more than someone with a camera, they should be someone you can relax around. Because film isn’t about spraying and hoping. It’s intentional, it’s careful, it’s made with presence. And that only works when you feel genuinely at ease.
Film asks me to slow down and really watch, to anticipate the moments that matter, to capture them with tenderness and truth. The small hand squeeze, the shaky breath before you walk in, the way your people look at you when you’re not looking.
When you’re comfortable, you forget the camera is there. That’s when film becomes powerful, it holds what’s real, not what’s posed. The tones feel timeless, the grain feels like memory, and the photographs feel like your day did, warm, honest, alive.

I shoot 35mm and medium format film

I adore 35mm film photography and shoot a complimentary roll or two at all my weddings. Film has such a special and unique feel that allows each moment to breathe and somehow feel more real, if that’s possible. I’ll often use my 50 year old  Leica film camera, it captures such really beautiful light and soul in it’s images – that adds to the storytelling of your day. I can also shoot solely film on your day. Just ask when enquiring.

MEET SHARRON

Hello, I’m Sharron a London based wedding film photographer.
Before I found my way to wedding photography, I was a journalist and photojournalist – always drawn to the quiet power of storytelling. Capturing real, unguarded moments has long been a part of who I am.
Now, as a wedding photographer, I get to create with heart and intention. Every day offers the chance to follow the light, to tune into emotion, and to craft images that do more than simply mark time – they hold it still, preserving the feeling of a moment so it can be returned to, again and again.
That’s what makes this work so meaningful to me. And that’s why I love what I do.

It's me!
