Alison and Carl got married at the beautiful Manor Farm Barn in Oxfordshire.
It was a glorious autumnal day, with that gorgeous low sun – it was a perfect day.
Alison is an old school friend – so it was such an honour to be asked to photograph her and Carl’s wedding in October. They got married at the brilliant Manor Farm Barn in Marsh Gibbon – a teeny but super pretty Buckinghamshire village. Thankfully, the sunshine gods were kind and we had some beautiful autumnal sunshine.

Their wedding was all about family, good friends and good times – oh and peacock chairs. Peacock chairs are essential! They created a beautiful day filled with so much joy and love – it was very special being able to watch them create such happy memories.
And a double bonus for me as I got to see a friend get married while recognising nearly all the guests from our old school days. Such a weird and equally wonderful feeling.
Why Manor Farm Barn is a great place to get married
One of my favourite moments was when Alison’s dress hoop fell out of her dress – not one to focus on the negative, Alison beamed with laughter – and had everyone in giggles for ages!.
Manor Farm Barn is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, and is one of the nicest places to get married in Oxfordshire. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there are loads of pretty places on the farm or in the village – which are perfect for photos
