Laura is obsessed with plants and flowers. We even did their pre-wedding shoot at Cambridge Botanical Gardens to keep on brand! So I knew the obsession would continue with their wedding theme.

The flowers at this wedding were nothing short of breathtaking. They added a touch of elegance and beauty to every corner of the venue. The tables, the curtain behind the head table – it really was a vision. Amelia Floral Design did a fabulous job. And the theme carried on through their cake too – all thanks to Jess Skinner at One Part Love Bakery.

But for me, the stand out part of the day was just how emotional people were. Dad seeing his daughter on her wedding day, mum getting emotional during the ceremony. Even Jack getting a bit choked up too. It’s always such a privilege to capture these precious moments. It is truly an honour to be able to document such special occasions and create lasting memories for the couple and their loved ones.

And if that wasn’t enough we were treated to a stunning golden sunset! And the grounds and gardens were a dream to photograph. The gardener at The Barn At Alswick should definitely get a pay rise – just for the massive dahlias alone! It really was a treat!
